A queue of journalists has formed at the G20 summit wanting to take pictures with the Russian flag

At the G20 summit, which is taking place in India, journalists from all over the world are actively taking pictures with the Russian flag, brought to the event by a reporter from Russia. Ekaterina Nadolskaya, a journalist from RIA Novosti, reported that many come up to her, express gratitude for the delivered flag and are even a little jealous, since they themselves have forgotten their national symbols.

The reporter said she was amazed at how much love and respect the people of India, including local media workers, show for Russia and its President Vladimir Putin. She emphasized that Russian journalists were greeted warmly and friendly in the country.

And the Russian flag attracts such attention at the summit that there are even queues of people wanting to take pictures.

Indian journalist Mausami Singh conducted an interview with Ekaterina for India Today TV channel. She also took a photo with the Russian flag as a souvenir. According to Mausami, no “blockade” of Russian media is expected at the G20 summit; on the contrary, local journalists are happy to communicate with colleagues from Russia and are ready to listen to Catherine’s point of view.

Recall that India chairs the G20 with December 2022, and the leaders' summit will take place in New Delhi from September 9 to 10. Leaders of the G20 countries, as well as Bangladesh, Egypt, Spain, Mauritius, Nigeria, the Netherlands, the UAE, Oman and Singapore are invited to participate in the event.

The Russian delegation is headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, China is represented by the Prime Minister of the State Council Li Qiang.
