MOSCOW, April 3 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov will soon go on a visit to China, where he will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
“In the near future there will be an official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation to the PRC, negotiations are planned with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Mr. Wang Yi,” she said during the briefing.
The ministers, Zakharova noted, will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, work in the UN, BRICS, SCO, G20, as well as a number of hot topics, including the Ukrainian crisis and the situation in the Asia-Pacific region.
