MOSCOW, September 9 Head of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova of the Russian Federation reported that the CEC received 20 appeals regarding campaigning issues, 18 of them about possible violations, all of them are carefully and promptly checked.
“In total, we received 20 requests regarding campaigning issues, 18 of which contain information about possible violations. All of them are carefully checked, where necessary, we intervene promptly,” Pamfilova said during the briefing.
Elections in Russia on a single voting day in most regions will take place over three days and began on September 8, the main day will be September 10. The EDC plans to hold elections of senior officials in 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and additional elections of State Duma deputies for four vacant seats in single-mandate electoral districts. Elections have been scheduled in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
